To put a Netgear Modem / Router into Modem (Bridged) mode.

Where, of course, 192.168.0.1 is the internal IP of the router. Once in bridged mode, you can still use this IP to connect to it in case you need to put it back. Of course it won’t do DHCP in this mode, and you should ideally use a network address outside of your LAN range for security.
