Loading and Running ASHM Queries

Downloading the ASHM Best Practice Queries

This resource comes with a set of queries that you can load and run.

The queries are available [here]. Download the files and extract them to the folder “My Documents \ ASHM”.

In the Database Search tool, click “Load query”. By default, this should open at “My Documents \ Best Practice”.

Browse to where the ASHM Queries have been saved (“My Documents / ASHM”) and load the query “ASHM-DATA-BP-Q2-Maybe-HBV.sql”.

Simple

 Query 2 – ASHM-DATA-BP-Q2-Maybe-HBV

Find patients that do not have a coded Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) diagnosis recorded but may be HBV positive.

This query identifies people who may have Chronic Hepatitis B Virus (CHBV)infection but who DO NOT have a coded HBV diagnosis.

It identifies patients who:

  • Have not been diagnosed with HBV
  • Who have a positive HBsAg test
  • Have been tested for HBV
  • Have Hep%B included in clinical .

 Query 3 – ASHM-DATA-BP-Q3-HbsAg-Level-Reported

This query finds patients who have reported a positive HBsAg test

Query 4 – ASHM-DATA-BP-Q4-HBV-Test

This query finds patients who have been tested for HBV

Query 5 – ASHM-DATA-BP-Q5-Lives-With

This query finds patients who live with somebody with a HBV diagnosis.

Query 6 – ASHM-DATA-BP-Q6-Clinical-Notes

This query finds patients who have Hep%B included in clinical notes.

 Query 7 –  ASHM-DATA-BP-Q7-Cancer-Drugs

This query finds patients undergoing
chemotherapy or immunosuppressive therapy

Query 8 –  ASHM-DATA-BP-Q8-Currently-Pregnant

This query finds patients who are currently pregnant

Query 9 –  ASHM-DATA-BP-Q9-Ethnicity

This query finds patients who have a recorded ethnicity that makes Hep B more likely
