Since arriving on the scene in the early ’90s, Adobe’s PDF file format has become one of the most common file types on the net. As with anything this ubiquitous security should be a primary concern. Over the last three decades, multiple enhancements to file size compression and compatibility have been introduced, as well as functions to limit what a recipient can do with a PDF.
